About this destination Located in South Eastern Europe and 300 km west of Athens, Zakynthos has a dry climate, which makes it comfortable for all summer months. As the season starts in May the temperatures have a high of 28 degrees Celsius and the nights get cool with a chance of one day during the week for rain. When entering June the temperatures rises and the chance of rain goes to two days during the month. July and August are hottest months and temperatures can reach the 40’s and a slim to none chance of rain. September is a lot like June, the temperature drops, which makes it very pleasant, and October is a lot cooler and the chance of rain is higher during the week.
